2017 Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival

I have not personally been to Delaware in October, but there's a pretty major jazz festival happening October 12th-15th.  It is called the Rehoboth Beach Jazz Festival.  They bill themselves as the The Greatest Jazz Festival in the World!   I have no reason to disagree with them, because the lineup is pretty stellar. Top Jazz Tracks Week of February 19 Do I Do sits at the top of the Smooth Jazz charts for the third consecutive week.  Groovin' is inspired by some of White's favorites from the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Brian Simpson's Wonderland, the uptempo track from his latest album Persuasion, enters the top ten this week.  Jazz Funk Soul is back in the top ten with Tuesday Swings.  Coincidentally, the track has been getting some play in the Smooth Jazz Mix Series.

Top Jazz Tracks Week of February 5 Do I Do, the remake of the Stevie Wonder classic takes over the top spot this week.  This is off of the Groovin' release.  Groovin' is an album of classics re-imagined by Mr. White.  This is the third album of classic songs that he has released, and his fifteenth album overall. Nick Colionne is back in the top 10 with the funky track, Morning Call.

Hot Jazz Tracks Week of December 4 Paul Hardcastle grabs the top spot this week with Echoes Rising.  This is off The History of Paul Hardcastle, a nice compilation of Paul's greatest hits.  It is a four disc set.  It also features a nice long chill-out mix, kind of like what we do here with the smoothed out mixes.
