Smooth Jazz Songs In The Mix Volume Two

This is the second installment of  Smooth Jazz Songs in The Mix series

Welcome to Smooth Jazz Songs In The Mix Volume Twothe second installment of the Smooth Jazz Songs Mix series.  We have some of the Smooth Jazz All Stars as in the previous mix, while adding some new ones.  We start out with one of the guitar legends, Mr. George Benson.  His offering to this edition is “Poquito Spanish, Poquito Funk.”  When you talk smooth jazz, this would be the definition.  Other guitar artists that appear in this mix include, Norman Brown, Paul Brown, Peter White and Jonathan Butler.
Euge Groove leads off the great list of horn players.  Mr. Groove has three selections in this mix.  They are all good so I am sure you won’t mind!  You want more horn players?  We got it for you!  Dave Koz and Mindi Abair make their first appearances here.  Dave Koz is one of the most influential contemporary jazz artists out today.  What can you say about Mindi Abair?  Her sound is unique and you can definitely vibe to her music.
We have “Sigh,” which is a great track by Praful, an accomplished artist who performs on many instruments.  “Sigh,” is a remix that can be found on a nice compilation album, Rendezvous Lounge.
I also have to give a shout out to the late great Wayman Tisdale, the ex-NBA player who excelled playing the bass.  His offering is a remake of the Change classic, The Glow of Love.  By the way, the original featured the debut of Luther Vandross, a singer you may know.
