February 3, 2015 – Exotic DJ has just released Smooth Jazz In The Mix Vol 2 No Radio Just Streaming Jazz. This is the second installment in the smooth jazz songs mix series.  “For this mix, I wanted to have a slow groove that slowly picks up the pace,” Exotic said in an interview for Swing Groove Publications.”  “I wanted it to have an obvious beginning, middle, and end.”
This session starts with a distinct down tempo groove from George Benson, and gradually progresses from there.  The tempo does not get too fast, but you will definitely feel that groove move you  bit.  Some of the horn players featured in the mix, include Mindi Abair, Dave Koz, Euge Groove and Boney James.  The guitar players we have are Norman Brown, Peter White and Jonathan Butler.
“This session is great, because you can play it for cocktail hour to ease the guests into the party.  It ends with a remake of “The Glow Of Love,” by the late great Wayman Tisdale.  You can actually transition into party music from there,” Exotic said at a recent club date.  “You can turn the page and go old school, disco, or straight into the latest popular hits.  Most of my jazz mixes are constructed this way.”
Believe it or not, there is a Kenny G remake in this edition.  (What Does It Take) To Win Your Love, by Peter White is one of my favorites, and it might end up being one of yours.

Enjoy!!
