I track all of the shows around the country, and I have been saying for quite some time that the state of North Carolina never ceases to amaze. They have several of the best shows. I personally like the state of North Carolina, but MAN….Do I need to fly out there to see a good show?
This is the Seabrook Performance Series at Fayetteville State University. There is a little something for everyone, including smooth Jazz, Blues, and some R&B.
The Seabrook Auditorium has a capacity of 1,132 and it hosts all types of shows. You can see dramatic performances, operas, distinguished speakers, and of course…the concerts! It is THE place to see a show in the Fayetteville area.
If you are near Fayetteville, be sure to get out there if you think one of these concerts will move you!
Check out the scheduled concerts:

If blues is your thing, you might want to check out Selwyn Birchwood. The bluesman won the 2013 International Blues Challenge and also the Albert King Guitarist Of The Year Award. He has a high-octane style and many are saying that he is one of the best Blues guitarists out there. Also on the bill is Big Ron Hunter. He is a North Carolina native and his Blues style infuses a taste of Gospel!
Norman Brown’s Joyous Holiday Concert with Bobby Caldwell & Marion Meadows
December 13th – Showtime 7:30pm
As far as Christmas tours go, this has to be at the top of the list. Norman Brown is perhaps the premier smooth jazz guitarist. He has several albums under his belt and he has been entertaining audiences for many years. Marion Meadows is one of the hottest horn players out right now, and I must say that his latest album, Soul City, is one of 2018’s best. Oh, and by the way….Legendary vocalist Bobby Caldwell is also on the bill.
This show is touring the country, and they make the stop in Fayetteville in mid-December.
