Did you know that Ricky Martin has been in the music industry for over 30 years? That is a long time for any artist, so there is something to be said about longevity. Martin has actually had a few distinct careers. He started in the group Menudo in 1984. He recorded and performed with the group until 1999. They recorded 12 albums during that time, and Martin gained valuable experience within the Entertainment Industry.
He released his first solo album, Ricky Martin in 1991. This is a Spanish language album. Actually, Martin’s first four albums were Spanish releases. He had built a large following, but with the release of his first English album, his popularity would explode. The 1999 release, Ricky Martin (I know two different albums with the same name) single handedly brought the latin explosion to the masses in the late 1990’s.

As a part of a larger tour, Martin will make a stop in Las Vegas. He will perform at the Park Theater at Monte Carlo. This will be an extended engagement, with six performances in September on the Las Vegas Strip.
