There is also a Richmond, Virginia. This is where the Richmond Jazz Festival will take place. It will happen August 9th-12th at Maymont. If you have never heard of the venue, it is an American Estate that was bequeathed to the City of Richmond a little after 1925.
There are plenty of things to do and experience, and the music festival is just the tip of the iceberg.
Speaking of the music, there will be three full days of it. Even though it is labeled a “Jazz” festival, there will actually be a little something for everyone.
