The city of New Orleans will take advantage of that once again with the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival 2019. The event will take place April 25th-May 5th, 2019.
For those of you keeping score at home, that is a TEN day festival…Well actually there are eight performance dates separated over two weekends.

May 2nd-5th
Better get your vacation days in order.
The organizers bill it as 50 Years Of Joy, and if you look at the lineups that have had over the years, I am inclined to agree with them.

In addition to the music, the festival will offer different cultural areas, such as the Louisiana Folklife Village and the Native American Village. You will get to witness these master craftsmen create cultural treasures by using generations-old techniques.
