Maxwell ​​​​“A Night At The Symphony” Live Performances

Following an immensely successful four-night run at The Kennedy Center with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington D.C., soul star Maxwell announces a run of symphony shows where he’ll perform with world-class orchestras.

Known for his meticulous attention to detail in his music, the ground-breaking tour will take the Brooklyn native to BaltimoreDetroit, San DiegoLos Angeles, and Atlanta.

Maxwell will take the stage with his longtime band which includes: creative partner Hod David (guitar), supporting vocalist Latina Webbtwo-time Grammy Award Winning Derrick Hodge, creative director, and arranger (bass), Darryl Howell (drums) and Shedrick Mitchell (keys). The symphonic performance will feature reimagined orchestral versions of songs from his hit-filled career — which include thirteen #1 R&B chart-toppers — ranging from “Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder)” and “Sumthin’ Sumthin” to “Pretty Wings” and the recent “Lake by the Ocean.”

Of this exciting milestone, the iconic musician says, “Never in my wildest dreams did I think that what started when I was 16 years old would take me to such a prestigious experience. It’s my greatest joy to announce that I will be playing songs from my catalog which I’m re-arranging for your symphonic pleasure."
