[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Bassist Marcus Miller has been in the game for more than 30 years. You have definitely heard his signature style throughout the years on various projects. We can go on for hours talking about all of the artists he has worked with, in both the R&B and Jazz genres.
He worked with Luther Vandross for 15 years, helping craft the singer’s signature style.
Miller also collaborated with Miles Davis on three albums. Tutu won two Grammy Awards, and it is widely called the definitive Miles Davis album.
We will not even get into the numerous film and TV credits for the veteran bass player.
Miller has released his Laid Back, his 23 album. There are several elements in play here, including hip-hop, trap, funk, and gospel.
Some of the guest performers on the album include Jonathan Butler, Trombone Shorty, Take 6, and Kirk Whalum.
Here are a couple of tracks that we like on the project. The first is Sublimity ‘Bunny’s Dream’ which features Jonathan Butler and the funky Untamed.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/_IoLbc4qL9I?list=PLMJc2C2y9iT9aXLMhy4J4g-IpZrsK7PKl” align=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/_Pg6qtHrYDA?list=PLMJc2C2y9iT9aXLMhy4J4g-IpZrsK7PKl” align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Miller will be performing overseas this summer, but later in the year, he will do a handful in the United States.

One of the best bass players of heard and seen in my life time. I been to alot of bass player concerts of all kinds of music. He is at the top of the list. So smooth playing the bass clarinet too. always plays with a set of great talanted musicians.
Definitely at there top. Many people do not know that he was a major part of the Luther Vandross creative team.
