[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Loose Ends were a part of that British Soul movement that was happening in the early 80’s-early 90’s. During that time, we saw Sade break out with a slew of mega-hits. George Michael left Wham! and explored his R&B grooves. Junior was all over the charts with Mama Used To Say, and Too Late. Lisa Stansfield released her first album, Affection.
Who can forget Soul II Soul, as they released Keep On Movin’. That track was the first of a flurry of hits, and they gained international acclaim with their unique style.
Loose Ends released Hanging On A String in 1985, and that started a string of hits that would define their sound.
Fun Fact: Loose Ends was the first British Band to top the Billboard R&B chart, courtesy of Hanging On A String. Although it was their most popular song, I am partial to Slow Down. That track is on the Zagora album, which is still a masterpiece.
Loose Ends will perform a few dates in the United States in 2017.
