Two-time Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist H.E.R. has released Fight For You from Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming feature film Judas and the Black Messiah.
“Fight For You” is also the first single from the Judas and the Black Messiah: The Inspired Album, which will include songs from Nas, SiR, A$AP Rocky, Dom Kennedy, White Dave and more. The album will available everywhere on February 12th.
Produced by Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II and H.E.R., “Fight For You” is reminiscent of the revolutionary sounds from the 60s and 70s, with poignant lyrics written by H.E.R., Dernst “D’Mile” Emile and Tiara Thomas, that are as relevant in today’s fight for social and racial justice.
It also has some old school/Marvin Gaye vibes.
