In case you didn’t know, Bluey from Incognito has been involved with a few other projects over the years. One of my favorites is Citrus Sun, a band that was formed in the 1990’s. They are a 9-piece band with a trumpet lead.
The band took themselves off to Krabi in southern Thailand to write and record the latest Citrus Sun album Ride Like The Wind.
In the idyllic setting the band recorded the bulk of the album, including the summery lead track “Calling Mr. Wolf”, which features Incognito regulars Dominic Glover on trumpet and Matt Cooper on keys.
The album – released on Dome/Select-O-Hits – once again has several contributions from legendary UK guitarist Jim Mullen.
