Three-time Grammy-winning musician Robert Glasper has teamed up with 2021 Best New Artist Grammy-nominee Kaytranada to deliver a remix of the 2021 Grammy-nominated single, Better Than I Imagined. The original version of the new track, a preview of Glasper's highly anticipated upcoming album Black Radio 3, features Grammy-winning R&B chanteuse H.E.R. and the 11-times Grammy-nominated artist Meshell Ndegeocello, and was recently Grammy-nominated for Best R&B Song. That's a favorable Grammy-winning combo if ever there was one - listen to the new remix below.

Alongside the single nod, Glasper was also nominated for his 2019 surprise-release mixtape, Fuk Yo Feelings (Loma Vista Recordings), which came in advance of his unprecedented and now legendary residency at New York's Blue Note. Fuk Yo Feelings is the result of a 2-day session in which Glasper invited musician friends to stop by the studio and organically create together, the final result being this mixtape which sonically documents the lost art of improv and on the spot collaborations that can only come from authentic relationships and true artistry. Glasper's sound can hardly be defined but is built on his unique blend of jazz, hip-hop and neo-soul. F*ck Yo Feelings is an inspired update in that lineage, blending the personalities of himself and his collaborators that include a top-tier range of standout artists across different scenes that only Glasper could put in the same room -Yasiin Bey, Herbie Hancock, Andra Day, YBN Cordae, Terrace Martin, Baby Rose, Bilal, Buddy, Denzel Curry, Mick Jenicks, SiR, Rapsody and more. The mixtape marked the first time Glasper reunited and recorded with Chris Dave (featured in Rolling Stone's "100 Greatest Drummers of all Time") and Derrick Hodge (bass) in nearly ten years since 2012's Black Radio, Glasper's unanimously celebrated album that took home the Grammy Award for Best R&B album in 2013.

After a monumental year and nine Grammy nominations to date, Glasper's legacy speaks for itself. Stay tuned for more to come, including the eagerly-anticipated release of Black Radio 3 in 2021. "Better Than I Imagined" and F*ck Yo Feelings are out now on Loma Vista Recordings.
