Lindsey Webster’s new album has been out for a couple of months, and if you have not heard it, you are really missing out. The title track, Back To Your Heart is a good lead off, but let me tell you….Where Do You Want To Go is the one of the best jams of 2016. It has that groove where you just sway from side-to-side.
It is refreshing to have a vocalist and a band full of talented musicians. It sounds like they had been playing together for years. This is what you are going to get when you see the show live. It is one thing to listen to the album, but this will translate well in a lounge or concert hall. This is music where each musician will be able to do their solo. I hear a guitar solo in the live version in Where Do You Want To Go. I also feel an expanded piano solo in I Know You So Well, a song that makes you feel like you are sitting in a cafe on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in France. If your on a budget, you can also get that feeling listening to the track at the Café du Monde in New Orleans. Just sayin’
Lindsey will actually be performing both in the United States and overseas for select shows.
