Co-written and produced by multi-Billboard Top 10 smooth jazz producer Darren Rahn, "Memory Lane" is reminiscent of the popular funk jazz hits from the 70s from artists such as Joe Sample, Bob James, The Crusaders, Larry Carlton, and others. It follows a string of successful singles by keyboardist Jayson Tipp - of which, three were added to Sirius Watercolors. Tipp's "Time To Roll" was in the top 20 on Billboard's smooth jazz chart for nine weeks in 2023 / 24.
Over three decades, Jayson's group Under The Lake garnered many notable
accomplishments across their 6 releases: Dive In (1993), Up For Air (1996), People Together (2007) and Jazz, Groove & Attitude (2018), Your Horizon Too (2020) and their latest Old Friends, New Grooves (2021).
Now, 30 years after the first Under The Lake album was released, Tipp has introduced his solo work t o rave reviews.
