Dave Koz has announced a new collaboration album with Minnesota funk guitarist Cory Wong. Called The Golden Hour, it's being released on June 11th. This studio album will feature Cory's rhythm section, plus a "kick-ass 5-piece horn section"—all recorded (with video) LIVE in the studio to give this album it’s completely unique and tight sound.
You can check out the first single from the album below—a track that the duo wrote, called Today.
They will also celebrate the release with an incredibly special livestream event on Saturday June 12th--a concert of the full album in it's entirety, atop a houseboat on Minneapolis' St. Croix River at sunset.

Says Koz, "It’s been a year of great change and introspection, of figuring out where we go from here and how we'll manage all that. For me, one way of coping has been to be even more creative. This album is the product of that—and I couldn't be more proud nor excited to share it with you. Perhaps it'll make you smile, or tap your toe. Or fill you with hope. If it makes you feel good, we’ve done our job. Happy listening!"
