[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]International superstar Celine Dion has announced that more than 15 years after the premiere of her first critically-acclaimed Las Vegas residency, her second production Celine at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace will come to an end on June 8, 2019. Tickets for the final performance and additional 2019 show dates (Feb. 26 through Mar. 16 and May 14 through June 8) will go on sale to the public beginning Friday, Sept 28 at 10 a.m. PST.
“I definitely have mixed emotions about this final run,” said Celine. “Las Vegas has become my home and performing at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been a big part of my life for the past two decades. It’s been an amazing experience and I’m so grateful to all the fans who have come to see us throughout the years. Every show we do at The Colosseum throughout this fall, and right up until the final one, will feel very special.”
Check out the song I’m Alive from a performance in 2007.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/JIDqBlBOLdg” el_width=”60″ align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Dion has performed 1,089 shows at the Colosseum, and a whopping 4.5 million fans have seen the show. She is currently performing the second live stage show, Celine, since March of 2011. Her first show, A New Day, played from 2003 to 2007.
One thing that should be mentioned is that Celine actually made the Las Vegas residency cool. For many years leading up to her signing, Las Vegas was considered a place where performers came to die……not literally of course…..but top artists dd not touch Sin City with a ten foot pole.
Now, several major artists come here to perform, including Jennifer Lopez, Gwen Stefani, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey and more.
I can tell you first hand that the Celine Dion show is a must see in Las Vegas. The sights and sounds are second to none.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
